JUPITER AND TEQUESTA WATERWAYS–
Loxahatchee River – At Jupiter Inlet, as you go west of the Intracoastal and the railroad it becomes the Loxahatchee River with Jupiter sandbar, wide open waters and smaller forks. The North fork of the Loxahatchee Inlet allows access to the river flowing through Jonathan Dickinson State Park where you can see alligators and other local wildlife. This part of the river is popular for fishing, kayaking and canoeing.
Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) – The ICW jogs to the northeast as it crosses the Jupiter Inlet and becomes a channel between Jupiter Island and Tequesta.

Scuba Diving Jupiter Florida
SCUBA DIVING – There are several shops and marinas in Jupiter that sell scuba diving equipment, offer private & group charters and have scuba diving classes and PADI 5 certifications. The reefs off Jupiter Inlet, Jupiter Island, Jupiter and Juno Beach have plenty of wildlife from nurse sharks to loggerhead and leatherback turtles to tropical fish. Jupiter dive sites include Loggerhead Reef, Hole in the Wall, Captain Kurle’s Reef and local ship wrecks.

Baseball Jupiter Florida
BASEBALL – Roger Dean Stadium off Donald Ross Rd in the Abacoa development of Jupiter Florida – hosts two major league baseball teams – the St Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins for spring training. The Palm Beach Post calls it a “spring baseball utopia.”
The Jupiter baseball stadium can hold nearly 7,000 spectators. Roger Dean Stadium also hosts 4 minor league baseball teams: Jupiter Hammerheads, Palm Beach Cardinals, Gulf Coast Marlins and Gulf Coast Cardinals. In 2012, it hosted 2013 World Baseball Classic qualifying games.
Town of Jupiter and Village of Tequesta also offer baseball junior recreational, travel teams and leagues as part of the Jupiter Tequesta Athletic Association (JTAA) program.
